US30 point value explained

How to calculate US30 pip value

Multiply the cash value of one index point by your lot size or number of contracts, then multiply that result by the number of points moved. For example, a 0.10-lot CFD worth $0.10 per point produces a $10 change across a 100-point move.

Futures use fixed contract multipliers. Micro E-mini Dow (MYM) is $0.50 per index point per contract, while E-mini Dow (YM) is $5 per index point per contract. Broker US30 CFDs use the value defined by the broker, so the calculator lets you enter that figure directly.

Once you know the point value, you can translate any US30Signals entry-to-stop distance into cash risk before opening the trade.

US30 pips vs points

Most platforms quote the Dow-based market in index points. Traders often say β€œpips,” but the cash result comes from the point value used by your product.

Broker CFD example

If your broker shows $1 per point at 1.00 lot, then 0.10 lot is $0.10 per point and a 100-point move is worth $10.

MYM futures

One Micro E-mini Dow contract is worth $0.50 per index point, so a 100-point move is worth $50 per contract.

YM futures

One E-mini Dow contract is worth $5 per index point, so a 100-point move is worth $500 per contract.
